501 error installing plugins and themes

Have a fresh Wordpress install and am getting the following error message installing plugins and themes.

Installation failed: 500 Internal Server Error <!--[if lte IE 6]><![endif]--> Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Running in Chrome. I have other Wordpress installs with other hosting sites that are working okay.

This often happens to me... but when hosting on Windows.
I have several customers hosting their services on GoDaddy servers, some under Linux and some under Windows, both with Plesk, and when I try to install/update plugins and/or themes under Windows hosting plans, I also got that problem, but never got it when doing it under Linux hosting plans.

Even I'm facing this issue. Is there a solution available? Who can help?

Anyone find a solution to this?
