Connecting my domain with Wix, but it's currently connected to Wordpress.

Hello, I'm having a difficult time transferring/connecting my current domain with Wix; however, it is currently connected to my Wordpress website. How do I disconnect it from Wordpress and connect it to my new website over at Wix.com?

Here are the steps to add the domain and get the IP address from Wix.

Then you'll need to update your primary A record to point to that IP address.

https://www.godaddy.com/help/change-an-a-record-19239

Type: A record

Host/name: @

Points to/value: [IP address for your website]

You can also double check you have a CNAME for www.

Type: CNAME record

Host/name: www

Points to/value: @

You should be able to go into the DNS settings (dcc.godaddy.com) and update the IP address to the one at Wix
