The easiest and fastest way to redirect your domain (but keep your sub-domain active in the same place) is by using a index.html file (in your domain public_html folder) with a meta refresh to create an instant client-side redirect.
You can see an example here:
Yes this is possible, I just forwarded, a domain and my sub domains
were not affected in cPanel
If your in cPanel just go to forward domain
and send it to your root index, or using http protocol.
Yes you can, but if you want more answers from different peoples, my advice is to start a new topic.

Hi Adrian8, I have a question very similar to what has been asked here.
I have a domain a.com that has been masked to show as b.com.
On the web page a.com, I have an URL that takes me to info.a.com.
With the current masking, when I click the link, to go to info.a.com, it still shows b.com.
How do I limit the masking to only apply for the home page a.com, but not the link info.a.com?
I have hrplatform.co domain need to forward to pophr.com. but hrpaltform.co has sub-domains. So I want to keep them as it is like demo.hrplatform.com. sub-domains should not forward. Also I need to handle it from the domain manager. Can I do that? please advice.
The forwarding options for the primary domain and the sub-domains can be configured separately. If you follow the instructions listed here for the primary domain, that should allow you to keep the current subdomains and forward the main domain: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/forward-a-domain-12123.
