Can't attach certificate to second domain on same host.

So I purchased one SSL certificate for my main website, and a few days later decided to purchase another one for my addon domain.

The SSL products are the one that are priced at around 59 GBP per year, that are used to protect one website. And I purchased two of those.

My main domain: soniromanov.com

My addon domain: fadbuzz.com

Some things I have tried:

1. Manually installing it to fadbuzz.com

2. Manually installing it to fadbuzz.soniromanov.com

Please let me know which makes more sense, so that I re-attempt it before replying.

I tried to attach it to the subdomain at one point because I read somewhere that addon domains inherit their SSL from their corresponding subdomain.

Neither of those worked. Do I have to purchase another type of SSL and if so is it possible to refund the one I already got?

Thanks in advance!

Apologies for the long question, I found the issue.

Apparently the SSL certificate was correctly setup (found out later that the padlock started showing up on some pages) however it had mixed content errors.
