    Go Dad Go!

    Hei,

I am an Englishman in Helsinki, balded but, unbowed!

Though site building in Drupal and trying to figure out how to use Composer correctly is definitely starting to make my back bend and furrow my brows of late :-(

I am a Learning, Education and Training Specialist (Business, Security & Risk Management) trying to develop a learning management / eco-system (LES) to support my Edu-business aims and pedagogy objectives.  Lots of challenges in terms of domains and/or sub-sites and use of GROUP with or instead of Organic Groups for differing membership (customer type) and  collaborative working areas.

I have been working with Drupal one way or another for about a year now, but still have copious amounts to learn in order to site-build a worthwhile LES.  Though certain experts told me loading a distribution onto Go Daddy shared hosting would not work, let alone use it with the Installatron application, I have managed to do just that. I just can't get the blinkin*  Composer to work properly!  It would be great to be able to use a gui such as Composercat if possible on shared hosting (windows version doesn't work unless in virtual php environment). Other tortuous challenges include correct installation of TinCan-LRS, Scorm Packages and the installation of  PHP binaries such as FFMPEG. I think I remember seeing it in php settings when on version 5.6. Then as recommended I upgraded to php 7 and the option seems to have disappeared.

I am happy to help others wherever I can, but, at this point I am more likely to confuse rather than help them Smiley Very Happy

    Kr,

    Pahkis
