Can send emails but not receive them from my hosting account

Hello, good day.

In my hosting account, I tried using Outlook (with the 1 free Outlook email that came with my account). At the same time, I also paid for three more emails to be available through Outlook and all was well until I decided to use Cpanel for the other 3 emails. Please note that I stopped paying for those 3 emails, and instead opted for them to be created (and used) as is available from Cpanel but with this, I cannot receive mails but I can send with those mails created from Cpanel. The other Outlook email works fine.

I tried checking through many documentations and have tried using all resources that I could find as regards this but none seemed to get the right result. Some of the links I have found as regards this are: https://www.godaddy.com/community/cPanel-Hosting/cPanel-Email-Recipient-address-rejected/td-p/120986 and https://uk.godaddy.com/community/Managing-Email/Email-Bounce-Back-ERROR-5-4-1/td-p/96688 from Godaddy's community itself. I have tried other options including from Outlook's several documentations.

I will appreciate any help.

Kindest regards.

You can't have email for a domain hosted in 2 locations at the same time. All email accounts must be in the same location.

Thanks for posting @Abametrics@PL281 is correct. To put it another way, you can not use both Office 365 and cPanel email to receive mail. Technically it would be possible to send from both, but with the way DNS works, you can not have email delivered to both servers. You'll need to choose one service or the other and set up your addresses there, then make sure your domain has the correct DNS for that service. Hope that helps.
