Hello @WSK01!
Thank you for your post. To help the community better answer your query, can you provide more information? Which type of hosting you have, etc.
Hello, @Heather
It is Deluxe Linux Hosting with cPanel.
I would like to know how to change the timezone of my server and MySQL database.
I have this same problem. Can you help me?
HELP! is it possible.
In your .htaccess file you can add a command to set the server time zone.
For example: SetEnv TZ America/Chicago
I have the same issue. As godaddy person instructed, I put the SetEnv TZ America/Los_Angeles into '.htaccess but the time didn't change.
Is there anyone who solve this issue?
My web hosting is deluxe Linux hosting, shared server.
Please advise me.
Thank you.

Hi, did anyone ever get an answer for this after? The suggested answer doesnt seem to work. I think godaddy should be allowing users to do this alot more easily with a guarentee the code actually works when the code is put in the .htaccess file.
My question put another way;;; when i use DateTime stamp ( i use phpmyadmin with auto input not a client side statement) i want the local time to be GMT or UCT ..not Los angeles time.... iam using a shared hosting package .
