Multiple Brute Force Attempts

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone found a good solution to reduce brute force attempts, my ftp log shows thousands of brute force attempts and quite a few a second.

I feel like it is only a matter of time before one of the attempts works.

My server is a VPS with centos and cpanel

Any help would be great,
