Open phpMyAdmin

Note: If you were impacted by the recent security incident affecting Managed WordPress customers, we have already changed our WordPress database password for you. There is no need for you to change it. If you would like to view the new database password, follow the steps in this article. In step 7, select the eye icon to view the password.

You can open phpMyAdmin to directly edit the database for any Managed WordPress site. This is useful if you want to do a manual import or export of a database or change individual database values.

  1. Go to your GoDaddy product page.
  2. In your My Products page, next to Managed WordPress, select Manage All.
  3. For the website you want to manage, select Settings from the menu icon menu.

    select settings
  4. Under Production Site, select Show more.
    select show more
  5. Next to Database details, select View.
    select view
  6. Note: For Pro Managed WordPress accounts (available in U.S.A. and Canada only), we've already logged you in and you'll go right into the database. For Basic, Deluxe, Ultimate and Developer accounts, continue with the next step.

  7. Copy the Username and Password to a text file.
  8. Select the URL under phpMyAdmin URL to go to the database login screen.
